(IRRIGATED AGRICULTURE MODERNISATION AND WATER BODIES RESTORATION AND MANAGEMENT)

            The World bank  funded Tamil Nadu Irrigated Agriculture Modernization and Water bodies Restoration and Management ( TN-IAMWARM) Project has among various other things, the procurement of Computer peripherals, LAN & UPS, Office Equipments and Computer furnitures at the following cost
1.Computer & Peripherals - Rs. 7,45,85,700
2.LAN & UPS                    - Rs. 3,44,54,000
3.Office Equipments             - Rs.1,68,86,600
4.Computer Furniture           - Rs. 55,32,000
            The administrative approval from the Govt of Tamil Nadu was sanctioned in  G.O.Ms.NO.206 of PWD(WR1) dated 17.6.2008  and work was entrusted with ELCOT. To procure the hardwares, open tender was floated and tenders were opened on the following dates
Computer Furniture                  :           12-03-2009  
Computers and Peripherals    :           15-04-2009
Office Equipments                    :           16-04-2009
LAN & UPS                            :           17-04-2009

            The supply of computers and laptops was inaugurated by the Hon'ble Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu on 20.01.2010.
