ELCOT is one of the agencies empanelled by the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) to execute Aadhaar Enrolment activities. ELCOT currently has 227 PECs as follows:
- District Collectorates – 32
- Municipal Corporation Headquarters – 11
- Municipal Zonal offices – 48
- Municipalities – 124
- Revenue Divisional Offices – 2
- Town Panchayat – 5
- Block Development Offices – 4
- PF Offices - 1
The centres are operational from 03.10.2016 and are presently providing the following services to the citizens:
- Aadhaar Enrolment
- Mandatory Biometric Update for children attaining the age of 5 years and 15 years
- Demographic Update (Any Type / Any Channel)
- Aadhaar search using eKYC / Find Aadhaar / any other tool and B/W printout on A4 sheet
- Lost Enrolment Identity (EID)
About 6000 to 8000 citizens are benefited from these centres every day.
